Ready for Recon-Missions.The 31-litre Recon is an iconic backpack from The North Face, designed for quick-gear access, hauling comfort and year-over-year durability. Its generously sized rear compartment has a fleece-lined 15” laptop sleeve that’s padded and doubles a hydration port. The front compartment features a fleece-lined tablet sleeve along with multiple zippered, slit, and mesh pockets for phones, pens and books. TNF’s FlexVent suspension system supports the shoulders with custom injection-molded straps, along with a padded and airy mesh back panel, which has a supportive spine channel. The pack front has a fleece-lined pocket for sunglasses and also comes with a stretch-front mesh pocket that can hold a sandals or a volleyball. Side compression straps allow for a more streamlined ride, a removable waist belt comes in handy on bike commutes, and a sternum strap with a whistle makes the Recon suitable for the occasional day-hike.
