I have the new 5th generation iPod Touch (with the new lightning cable) and the iPod USB plugs right into the front on the head unit and plays music right after you plug it in… the best part is that you can control the music from the head unit screen instead of having to mess with the iPod while you're driving! If you have a backup camera you can use that with this head unit. This also plays DVDs and the sound is great! Self installation took the better part of the afternoon, definitely worth doing it yourself if you know how.
