HOWEVER . . . I was ready to throw it away when the .080 string kept breaking, so I switched to .095 string and now it mows down grass on my lawn like a champ! This trimmer is VERY powerful and it is TOO powerful for 0.080 string, but it performs perfectly with 0.095 string, including the bump feed. So yea, it works wonderfully as a trimmer. Also, I got the edger attachment and it edges my driveway incredibly neat and tidy. LOVE this string trimmer!
